Forum: GratefulDead Subject: CD-R Question

Just bought 100 Memorex CD-R's from Sam's Club and noticed after I got home that the CD's say.... 52x 700Mo 80 min, instead of.... 52x 700Mb 80 min. Does anyone know the difference. A quick web search of 700Mo CD-R's produced nothing but pages written in French. Color me confused!

i've used those memorex white cds and dvds (got from Staples)---

they're probably ok for temporary storage but i think they're lower quality---crunch 1 and the coating is oh-so-thin!!!

Memorexs are weird. I've had multiple bad discs in brand new 100-disc stacks, some that my machine even refuses to read.

Sonys are better for my dollar.
